The calculation of the NiCl2 * x H2O is wrong
Hydrat mass is 0,47 g
Dry salt mass is 0,256 g
Evaporated mass of H20 is the difference means 0,214 g
Molare mass NiCl2 = 129,6 g/mol
Balance 0,256 g/129,6g =0,214 g/(x*18 g/mol)
Solve for x = 6,01
The compound is Nickelchloride Hexa hydrate
NiCl2 * 6 H2O
Mass of hydrate = (Mass of dish + hydrate)- Mass of empty dish
Mass of anhydrous =( Mass of dish + anhydrous salt) - Mass of empty dish
Mass of water =Mass of hydrate - Mass of anhydrous
