1--: Rank the following liquids in order of increasing volatility. Rank the following liquids in order of
increasing vapor pressure at 50oC.
a) ethanol, C2H5OH
b) methanol, CH3OH
c) ethylene glycol, HOCH2CH2OH

increasing VP==> c,a,b

chenbeier

No, it is the opposit
b,a,c
The VP is coming from the Substanzen it self. So Methanol is a most Volatilit?t, it has highest Vapour pressure. Glycol has the lowest one.

Vapor pressure is highest with lowest attractive forces and highest with highest attractive forces .
B>A>C
