Protonation of alcohol -In this reaction alcohol is using its oxygen lone pairs and getting bonded with acidic proton  of hydronium ion. Alcohol oxygen is the nucleophile and H+ of hydronium is the substrate.H2O is the leaving group.
Nucleophile and leaving groups are working simultaneously.
