Hi, I just had a general question: Are there different types of electrons? Cause I came across a question with answers like valence electrons, which was the correct answer, but in the choices, there were also quantum electrons; this is probably a silly question to ask, but does that mean there are different types of electrons? I'm a bit confused.
There is only one type of electron.
If it is present in outermost shell we call it as valence electrons. If it is in the inner shells we call it inner shell electrons.
4 quantum numbers are used to give the complete address of the electron.
ohhh okay , thank you!
