Title: Quiz : 7.5 Quantum numbers - Orbital Shapes and Energies - question
Post by: Aditi on December 07, 2024, 04:31:42 PM
Hi, I was doing the quiz, Quiz: 7.5 Quantum Numbers—Orbital Shapes and Energies, and I came across this problem. I don't know if we have discussed this yet, but I was confused about what they mean by a wave function. What is this question talking about?

Aditi we have not done this part of atomic structure unit.
Orbitals is the space around the nucleus where the probability of finding the electron is maximum and it is represented by ψ^2.
