What is the difference between ketone, aldehyde and carboxyl group?
They all are carbonyl compounds but in ketones there are two R(alkyl) groups on either side of C=O,in aldehydes one R(alkyl) groups on one side of C=O and one side has H , and in
carboxyl group there is one R and one OH group.
