Post by: Vinay on April 04, 2009, 08:22:48 AM
The water solubilities of oxalic acid and sodium oxalate at room tem¬perature are 10 g/l00 mL and 3.7 g/l00 mL, respectively. Could you pre¬pare oxalic acid by adding HCl to a solution of sodium oxalate, cooling it to room temperature, and filtering the resulting mixture? Explain why or why not.
