Title: Question for quiz
Post by: Kyra on November 23, 2024, 02:24:52 PM
Hi, I was doing my quiz, and I got really confused because I kept on getting 33 but it kept on saying that it was wrong. So I submitted it as 33 and checked what the actual answer was and it said that the answer is 33 degrees Celsius. I thought that I should've done the degrees Celsius but I couldn't really do that. Would I still get points for that question?

Hi
I calculated the answer and I am also getting 33.5 degree C .May be because of sig-fig the answer is wrong.
Answer should be in one sig fig because of mass of water which is 1kg.

I think Kyra is asking if she could still get points for the question because she forgot to label the answer as 33 degrees Celsius and got it wrong. It depends on what they asked you to put specifically in the question; it doesn't say to, but I think you should always label your answer. I also solved this question and got 33.5 degrees Celsius. Maybe it's a typo error?
